Admission Notification and Visa Processing for Foreign Applicants
Applicants will be notified of acceptance into the China Conservatory at least one month prior to the beginning of study.
Applicants will receive an acceptance letter as well as a JW202 form, both of which are required to apply for a study (X) visa at the nearest consulate or embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the applicant’s home country.
Students are to report to the China Conservatory International Cultural Exchange Center within the time frame stated in the acceptance letter. If special circumstances do not permit this, the student must notify the Cultural Exchange Center in advance, or risk forfeiting their acceptance status.
Additional Notes
Fees for tuition and housing are to be paid in whole at the start of the study period. Long-term students are to pay tuition on a yearly basis, and housing on a semester basis.
Students who terminate study within the first two weeks of the term will receive 50% of their tuition fee. Students who terminate study after the first two weeks will not receive any portion of their tuition fee.
Students who choose to terminate their study prior to the completion of the term must pay an additional two months of housing to compensate for loss.
All fees must be paid within the first week of the study term.
